Fall Memories In New York

Hello! These pictures are being posted a bit late due to our hiatus but we are back and ready to keep you all posted. Being from Philadelphia, I do not live very far from New York City and have been there on a couple of occasions, but never before in the Fall. Let me tell you, it is absolutely gorgeous in the Autumn-especially Central Park. The colors of the trees ranged from oranges to yellow to maroon. It was absolutely beautiful. We saw PIPPIN on Broadway this same day because our college offers a deal where they take us to New York for the day and gives us a ticket all for only $20. Pretty sweet deal. We spent the day walking around and going into some shops. We wish we could have thrifted! We will have to plan a day exploring some thrifts in NY because I bet we would find some treasures.

So what's thrifted? Scarf

Autumn in Central Park

Thrifted: colorful fall scarf
How lucky are we as college students to be able to spend a day in NYC and see a Broadway show all for $20.00! Sophia and I went and had a marvelous day! While there we decided to take advantage of the beautiful scenery in Central Park and we captured these beauties. Although my trench coat wasn't thrifted I got it at Kmart for such a low price. Originally $50.00 and I got it for $10.00!

Step Into Fall

So I am going to start by saying no one has any idea how badly I have wanted booties like these. I am not into wearing heels around campus and always wished I could find a pair that are not too tall-then bam! I was surprised to find them at Forever 21 while out with my family trying on some bridesmaids dresses for my cousin's wedding. This scarf is one of my favorites and I bought it years ago in a little shop in Chinatown. Fall around campus is looking beautiful.

So what's thrifted? Dress $6

Black and White

Finding an awesome skirt is awesome in general. It is even better when this skirt is only $4...and brand new. This is my favorite skirt that I own. It goes with pretty much everything and I'll never forget that I got it thrifted for $4 brand new with tags on it for $34.99.
It's getting a little more chilly out here so full knitted sweaters and tights are a good way to stay warm :).

So what's thrifted? Skirt $4, Bag $4.

Fall is Coming

So I'm really happy to be back in my element. Fall/Winter fashion is my favorite because I love layers. Now is all about bringing out the knits, the stockings, and the fun tights. I like wearing earthy colors a lot in the fall. I've been obsessed with this scarf since Sarah got it for me and have been wearing it practically every other day. My school is situated right next to a mountain, so it gets colder here fast. Leaves are starting to fall -it's the best!

So what's thrifted? Bag $4. Other outfit details: Lace Up Boots, Rainbow. Knitted Dress, Charlotte Russe.
